Construction Rocks hits Melbourne

Last night, Grant Winstanley and Phil Isard from the Consultive team attended the inaugural Melbourne Construction Rocks, Australia’s first construction battle of the bands. With four awesome bands on show, the judging panel was led by Darren Middleton from PowderFinger (lead Guitarist).
Congratulations to the night’s winners:
Judges Choice (Winner) – “Hertz Donut” from WSP (Carly Djosovic, Mingsan Boulter & Phillip Setton) A ripper job on Divinyls “Boys in Town”.
People Choice (Winner) – “Mash Up a Trios” from Wood & Grieve (Dan Castro) belted out the Pulp Fiction number “Miserlou”.
​Phil’s personal favourite: “Ozzy Osborn McCutcheon” from Bates Smart finished with an outstanding David Bowie number “Modern Love”. Grant’s favourite was “Really Simple Minds” from WSP (Tim Ryan) really rocked out Guns N Roses “You could be mine”.
With MC, John Lucchetti doing an incredible job, it was an awesome night and will certainly be bigger next year!
