ABS Building Approvals September 2018

The ABS today released the September Building Approvals numbers. As expected, weakness is the story with signs of the downturn accelerating. Seasonally adjusted, total dwelling approvals are down 14.1% YoY however there was surprising strength in dwellings excluding houses (apartments/units).
