Consultive-Blog-Project-Spotlight-Commercial_Blog

Each month, we put the spotlight on the progress of various projects in and around the state of Victoria. This time, we look at the Commercial sector and the latest updates from the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce, 57 Balmain St and Encore, Cremorne.

Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce
(Office Building)

Project: 4 Storey Office Building

Developer: Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce (VACC)

Architect: Gray Puksand Pty Ltd

Construction Start Date: March 2020

Construction End Date: 1st quarter 2022

At the Tender stage, this four-storey office building is planned for North Melbourne and beginning in March of 2020. After selling their old headquarters, the VACC is settling in at 644-658 Victoria Street, with plans to include a full reception area, lobby and other features.

There is also expected to be plenty of building elements to make the location last. With construction estimated to finish around 2022’s first quarter, there will be a lot to come from this one.

57 Balmain St

Project: 7 Storey Offices, Showroom and Café (Former Rosella Complex)

A builder has now been appointed for this valuable and exciting development on top of Richmond’s historic Rosella complex. The proposed tower would stand tall beside the busy train line and Cherry Tree Hotel – making this build quite the visual statement.

The complex is set to include a three-level basement car park, restaurant and various key amenities.  Construction begins soon in December 2019, so be sure to keep an eye out for any updates.
